The actress, who was once a cover girl for Vogue magazine, lives today at Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel still struggles to deal with the divorce she received of Richard Harris, even though they only dated for eight years. Turkel, who was a Jewish girl raised in Manhattan and born into a middle-class Jewish family, had already studied under Sanford Meisner and Philip Burton when she was just 16 years old. Ann started singing in highschool along with fellow students, and then created the group. Ann was discovered when she was performing at the Vogue Fashion Show together with her band. In less than a week, editor-in chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot her first Vogue Cover with photographer Richard Avedon. Subsequently Ann began to become one of the most sought after models in America, landing on the cover of the top fashion magazines including Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan among many others. Ann began her modeling career in Europe and Japan in the fashion houses of Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two consecutive years of successful modeling.
